The Miele S5280 Pisces Caniser Vacuum Cleaner is provided with a floor head that features an Allergotec hygiene sensor, device that is capable of automatically detecting particulate contamination levels. The engine relies on a small metal sensor plate that is located above the floor hear at the connection to the suction tube. The Allergens that usually adhere to dust particles bounce on this plate on their way through the air duct thereby releasing tiny electrical impulses.

The Miele Active HEPA filter, aside from ensuring superior levels of hygiene also guarantees odour-free room air because of its layer of activated charcoal. It also features an electronic suction control that allows the vacuum cleaner to adapt with ease to different kind of floorings. Its Allergotec floor head cleans both carpeting and smooth floors by operating a foot switch and can be changed from one to another level.

The Miele S5280 is an economy level vacuum model but it performs well, cleaning ability wise as its more expensive models such as the Capricorn and Aquarius. Just without the electronic controls.

The mid-size power nozzle does excellent job in cleaning medium-low pile carpets, and is also excellent in bare floors. The nozzle comes in a handy as you don't have to switch the cleaning head as you clean your rugs and bare floors. All you have to do is flip the switch on the hose. The nozzle sometimes struggles on thicker carpets because it chokes therefore giving you more time cleaning your thick carpet. If in case you have thicker carpets and substantial pet hair at home then better consider the larger nozzle, or the 236 power nozzle.

Advantages
Miele spells versatility. It functions so well yet it works quietly and it is easy to maneuver. The Miele S5280 works best on all floor types and it has all the tools you need in your everyday cleaning. This model is specifically the one in the economy level but it does not cut short its performance. Get the same excellent cleaning performance of Miele Aquarius and Capricorn at a very economical Miele S5280. It hs various settings that can be adjusted if one works with heavy soiled carpets to lightweight ones such as curtains. The tools are also well thought of and the smaller attachments are all secluded in a neat compartment in the cleaner.

Disadvantages
The only drawback of the Miele S5280 is that it needs dust bags to function but one plus point here is that it lasts a long time before it needs to be changed or disposed. And yes, though it is already in the economy price range of Miele, it is still a little expensive compared to other vacuum cleaner brands.
