This bagged canister vacuum also features a 14-inch power nozzle which moves without effort from wood floors, to short pile carpet, to long pile carpet. This features a lifetime lubricated ball bearings and balanced motor parts in both suction motor and power nozzle motor.

It has the new OptiFlow™ double-wall bag chamber that greatly improves air flow by allowing air to exit the high filtration bag in every direction. This is an essential part as the air need not fight through layers of debris and dirt in the bag to exit. The caddy of the OptiFlow™ double-wall bag chamber will allow you to replace it with ease.

The Panasonic MC-CG885 has the best power nozzles ever as it features a reinforced, banded V-belt for positive power transfer from the motor and a brush roll with two rows of bristles for deep cleaning carpets. This power nozzle can be used to clean small areas of bare floors.

With the Panasonic MC-CG885, you are in complete control because everything is controlled by your fingertips with the remote control dual voltage electrified hose. The hose mounted remote power switch gives you the ability to switch the unit on and off.

It has a convenient swivel hose that swivels freely for 360 degrees, therefore it enables you to work conveniently near the machine. This will also reduce sideways stresses on the hose which will definitely shorten the lifespan of the hose.

The Panasonic MC-GC885 is a powerful vacuum but it lacks the appropriate tool for bare floors. Though it has four different height settings or convenient foot switch to "bare floor" it is still hard to move around without the correct attachment for bare floors.
